PDF Metadata Viewer — Inspect Document Properties
Audit PDF document info before archiving or compliance review. Export title, author, dates, and page count as JSON.
What lives in PDF metadata
Every PDF carries a document information dictionary: title, author, subject, keywords, creator application, and timestamps. This data drives search indexes, DAM systems, and compliance audits.
Practical checks
- Confirm page count before court e-filing
- Verify author/creator fields before public release
- Batch-inspect archives before migration to ECM
Export is JSON for scripting. For content edits, use Edit PDF or conversion tools.
Security & retention
Files are uploaded over HTTPS, processed on our servers, and stored only long enough for you to download the result. Temporary copies are removed automatically; we do not use your documents to train models or build marketing lists.
Free vs Pro
- Free — 3 conversions per tool per day, 200 MB per file.
- Pro — unlimited use, 4 GB uploads, priority conversion queue. See plans.
